As founder and CEO of Intellect, I have been on a mission for over 20 years to help innovators improve and automate cumbersome business processes and simplify their work days. I strive daily to build a company and culture we are proud of, working alongside people I respect and admire. Leading my amazing team, working alongside our valued customers, partners and inspiring mentors, enables our company to empower countless Intellectuals to innovate in organizations worldwide. I built Intellect in Los Angeles and it’s also where my wife and I enjoy raising our 4 kids.
At Intellect, marketing is all about driving engagement with our customers and partners, and helping them learn how Intellect can help to transform their organizations. As CMO and VP of Business Development, I lead Intellect’s marketing efforts across all functional areas – digital marketing, demand generation, brand strategy, communications, technology partnerships, solution providers, and resellers. I’m passionate about building a marketing organization and business that delivers the best possible experience for our customers. Before Intellect, I worked at Arise Virtual Solutions, Aegis Communications, PeopleSupport, Exult, Intersil, and FileNet. Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 young boys, coaching soccer, surfing, traveling around the world, and being outdoors.
Creating and providing Customers the best overall experience and journey is key to any organization. As Chief Customer Officer of Intellect, it is important to provide thorough and accurate Customer perspectives and feedback in order to create and deliver Customer loyalty programs that our Customers deserve and expect from a Quality driven company. In taking charge of the Customer journey, it is important for me to work closely with the executive team and all departments throughout Intellect to assure we are united in delivering excellence and lifetime value for our Customers. I’ve been blessed to work with many great software Company’s throughout my career such as Sterling Software, SAS, and with Intellect for the past nine plus years. As a native Southern Californian, I enjoy all things outdoors and can usually be found with my wonderful wife and daughter skiing, hiking, fishing, etc. in the Eastern Sierras.
As Chief Product Officer at Intellect, my passion is helping clients succeed by building products that drive business impact. I work alongside my team to listen to client and market needs and bring together partners across Technology, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver innovative solutions. Prior to joining Intellect, I built enterprise software for Fortune 500 companies in healthcare, education, and financial services - most recently creating compliance solutions for the growing RegTech industry. I began my career in audio post-production – crafting sounds for independent films, and producing television and radio ads for Whirlpool, Chrysler, Old Spice, Amway, and many more. In my free time, I enjoy woodworking, learning new skills (ask me about restoring my ‘81 RX-7), and spending time with my beautiful wife and two girls.
As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Intellect, I have worked hard to create one the most intuitive QMS and BPM solutions in the industry. I help develop Intellect’s long-term technology strategy, vision and growth, ensuring technology excellence across the company and advocating customers success. I am a member of the LA CTOForum which is a vibrant, private, invite-only network of software CTOs who exchange ideas, share experiences and assess cutting edge technologies. I received a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from Isik University, in Turkey, and a MS in Computer Science with a specialization in Software Engineering from University of Southern California (USC).
To quote the company’s Chairman, “Finance is the plasma of an organization.” From that I standpoint, I strive to build partnerships with all key stakeholders of the business to ensure its current and future success. Throughout my career journey, I have enjoyed leveraging my resourcefulness and perseverance to solve unique problems. From the Hoosier state to North Carolina to Spain to California, I have sought out new opportunities to challenge myself to grow and flourish. My move to California allowed me to obtain my MBA at UCLA Anderson and my CPA license, shortly thereafter. Outside the office, I enjoy jogging on the beach or getting my zen on in yoga class.
Leading Sales at Intellect is much more than building a pipeline and closing deals. It’s about harnessing the power of an amazing community. Listening. Learning from every interaction to help find simple solutions to hard problems. Having spent much of my early days in athletics, words like hard-work, discipline, execution, and team are deeply ingrained in who I am. I have been incredibly fortunate in my career to work with many wonderful teams at Thomson Reuters, CrossBorder Solutions, and now Intellect. Home is the Greater Los Angeles Area where my wife, my daughter and I can usually be found on the beach, on our bikes or sitting on our deck having dinner (and maybe a cocktail) watching the sunset.
