About the Role:

Intellect is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to perform the following activities:

  • Generate new business pipeline and interest by following up on inbound Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) using a combination of phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages
  • Once connected with a prospect, share the value of Intellect’s product offering and discover the prospects business initiatives, timeline, budget, etc., to qualify and disqualify prospects
  • Set qualified meetings for Account Executives (AE’s) with prospects to help the company achieve its revenue goals; reschedule calls, as needed
  • Act as a business advocate and advisor for prospects and speak to Intellect’s value proposition and differentiation
  • Build credibility and trust with external and internal stakeholders
  • Research the customer’s buyer journey and understand various personas, and provide such feedback to marketing
  • Provide feedback to marketing messaging, positioning and content that resonates with prospects, why, and what new materials are required


Job Requirements:

  • Meet monthly goals for Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) scheduled and accepted by Account Executives
  • Re-engage and re-target your lead pipeline to improve conversion rates from MQLs to SQLs
  • Circumvent prospect objections in order to establish meaningful and dynamic conversations with key decision makers
  • Update CRM with notes, follow-up activities, automated email cadences, etc.


Required Skills/Experience:

  • 1-2 years business or sales experience. Prior telesales/telemarketing experience is preferred
  • Experience with HubSpot, SalesIntel, LinkedIn, and other martech solutions
  • Data-driven, with the ability to read data, pull insights, and provide feedback and recommendations
  • Excellent verbal, social, and written communication skills
  • Must be a team player with a results-oriented focused
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, voices their opinion, and is a go-getter
  • Self-motivated, proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or comparable education

The role reports to the CMO and VP of Business Development.
